Caring staff combined with continuing education ensures Keosauqua Health Care Center is working to improve upon the services they provide to local seniors. Not only do we strive to meet the physical needs of each Resident but also their psychosocial well being.

Kaitlyn Wiezorek – Administrator
Kaitlyn is our Administrator here at KHCC, joining the team in June 2022. Kaitlyn enjoys the opportunity to interact with our residents daily, creating relationships with them and their loved ones. Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration Health Care Administration. She is from Northern Wisconsin where she enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Kaitlyn is happy to be in Keosauqua because it reminds her of home.

Sharon Feldmann – Business Office Manager
Sharon is our Business Office Manager here at Keosauqua Health Care Center. Sharon started with Good Samaritan VB in 2010 and stayed on through the transition of becoming Keosauqua Health Care Center. Sharon enjoys working in long-term care and has always worked in the healthcare field. A fun fact about Sharon is that she enjoys riding her Harley-Davidson with her husband and taking trips to new places. Sharon really loves to go antiquing with her friends and relaxing on her family’s fishing boat.

Calla Mallett - Assistant Director of Nursing/MDS
Calla Mallett is our Assistant Director of Nursing here at Keosauqua Health Care Center. She has been working in healthcare since 2015 and before making the transition into this role, she was an LPN here with us for almost 4 years. Calla graduated from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa and elderly care is her passion. She is a wife and mom of four kiddos, raising and selling turkeys out on her land. She enjoys reupholstery projects, collecting new animals for her funny farm, and spending time with her family. Fun fact: Calla was the President of her FFA chapter in high school.

Annie Glick – CLD
Annie is our Community Care Liaison, she joined the KHCC team in May, 2021. Since her time in our facility she has grown to love the residents and staff. Annie graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with her Bachelor’s in Communication Studies. She is happy to have her roots back in southeast, Iowa where she enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, and competing in equine sorting events.

Dr. Dana Brecount – Medical Director, DO
Doctor Brecount is the Medical Director here at Keosauqua Health Care Center and she also is a Family Physician at Van Buren County Hospital. She grew up in Southeast Iowa and completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Iowa, then later graduated from Des Moines University in 2010 as a Doctor of Osteopathy. Doctor Brecount completed her residency in Kirksville, Missouri at Northeast Regional Medical Center and then started her career at Van Buren County Hospital in 2013. She joined Keosauqua Health Care Center as the Medical Director in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two boys. During the summer she and her family enjoy going boating and four-wheeling. A fun fact about our Medical Director is that she has run four half marathons! Doctor Brecount is a great asset as the Medical Director here, and we really enjoy the resident-centered care that she provides.

Mallory Segebart – Director of Rehabilitation Reliant
Mallory has been with the Keosauqua Health Care Center team since 2018 as a Physical Therapist Assistant, although recently in May of 2022 she has accepted the Director of Rehab position. Mallory has obtained her A.A. in Human Services and her A.S. in PTA from Kirkwood Community College, she also obtained her
B.A. in Psychology from The University of Iowa.
Mallory has enjoyed working in the long-term care industry. “I am so thankful that I chose this path because the connections I have made with residents and members of the community has
been a confirmation on why I chose to do this career.”
In Mallory’s free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, live music, being active, trying new things, and traveling with her dog, Kase. KHCC is grateful for Mallory’s desire to succeed and the dedication she puts into each of our residents.

Tayler Westercamp – Maintenance Director
Tayler is our Maintenance Director here at Keosauqua Health Care Center. In Tayler’s role he looks forward to helping the residents and keeping the facility safe. Outside of his role here, Tayler is a member of the National Guard as a 12w, Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. He has been a part of the National Guard since May of 2018 and has recently been promoted to Sergeant. Tayler enjoys helping people however he can, spending time with his two beautiful daughters and his fiancé (who is a CNA at KHCC), fishing and anything outdoors, and he enjoys learning new things. We are thrilled to have Tayler as a part of the KHCC team.

Heather Wiley – HR
Heather is excited to be joining the leadership team. She’s passionate about the staff and is looking forward to serving them in her role as the Human Resources Coordinator. In Heather’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, six kids, and family. Heather was just married to her best friend of eleven years. Heather previously worked on the floor as a dedicated CNA for four years and CMA for a couple short months.

Amber Files – Activities Director
Amber has been a part of our KHCC family for eight years starting as a CNA and now transitioned into our Activities Director. Amber is valued in our facility for her attention to detail and motivation to provide new opportunities for our residents. Amber enjoys her time here spent with residents and staff creating activities to keep staff and residents involved, a fan favorite is themed karaoke! Outside of work you can find Amber spending time with her friends and family and feeding her artistic side with photography.

Lilly Perkins - Assistant Director of Nursing/MDS
Lilly has been with Keosauqua Health Care Center since June of 2021, currently Lilly holds the title of ADON/MDS. Since her time with KHCC she has continued to prove her skills and dedication. Lilly graduated from Arkansas Tech University of May 2012 where she went to work in a clinic before going to Baptist Health care in Fort Smith where she spent 9 years working in geriatric psych and neurology. In Lilly’s free time she enjoys being with her family, baking and cooking, hiking, and going for motorcycle rides. KHCC is grateful to have Lilly for her bubbly personality, trusting experience, and her hard work ethic.

Bethany Millard - Social Service Director, LPN
Bethany is our Director of Social Services, she joined the KHCC team in December, 2022. Bethany’s passion for Long Term Care started here when she worked as an Assistant Activity’s Director throughout her high school years. She then went to college and graduated from Iowa State University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Community and Public Health in May of 2020. Bethany then pursued Nursing at Indian Hills Community College and Graduated with her LPN licenses in November of 2021. In Bethany’s free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being involved in her church, doing any outdoor activities, home improvement projects, and spending time with her dog, Tobias.

Daniel Clark - Dietary Managerr
Daniel is our Dietary Manager at KHCC, he joined our team in October, 2022. Before taking this position he had worked in food service, starting as a server and working his way up to Assistant Manager. This is where his passion for the industry sparked, leading him to his Food Safety Protection Manager Certification, and he is now currently in the 6-month process of getting his CDM certification. Daniel had interest in being a paramedic, which lead him into the Healthcare field where he is happy to have found a place on our team. Outside of his position at KHCC he enjoys playing video games, reading books, and watching anime.
